No refunds for change of mind
Kokoro Audio sells digital audiobooks. When you buy a released title, it's yours the moment your payment goes through: you can download it straight away from your account (up to three times), and it's waiting in your library in our free listening app.
Because you receive the complete audiobook immediately, we don't offer refunds if you change your mind, and purchases can't be returned. That includes a title going on sale or dropping in price after you've bought it.
Listen before you buy
So you can be sure a title is right for you, our free listening app has long samples you can listen to before you buy, usually the first tenth or so of the story and up to about an hour long (a free account is all you need). You'll find more previews on our YouTube channel and on many title pages.
Pre-orders
A pre-order isn't delivered until the title is released, and we'll email you when it is. Until then, you can cancel it for a full refund from the orders in your account. The refund goes back to your original payment method, normally the moment you cancel, and usually appears within 5 to 10 business days. Once the title is released, its pre-order can't be cancelled.
If something goes wrong
That never stops us putting a problem right:
- You were charged, but your order didn't complete. Email us and we'll complete your order or refund you in full.
- A title won't download or play, is incomplete, or has a fault in its audio. Tell us and we'll fix it, replace it or refund you. If it's a major problem, whether you get a replacement or a refund is your choice.
Your rights under consumer law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in this policy limits those rights, or your rights under the consumer laws of the country you live in.
